Payments

Dues and merchandise are paid into the club's own Stripe account. runclubOS never holds the money and takes no fee.
Stripe accountReady

Payments go straight to the club's Stripe account and bank.

  1. How it works. Payments go to the club's own Stripe account and bank. runclubOS never holds the money and takes no fee. Stripe charges its own processing fee.
  2. What you will need. The club's legal details or a responsible person's details, a bank account, and about 10 minutes.
  3. Connect. The button opens Stripe's hosted onboarding, where you create an account or connect an existing one.
  4. Return. This screen shows one of four states: Not connected, Details needed, Ready, or Restricted.
  5. Finish. When the state is Ready, your dues page and shop open to runners.

Stripe is not configured in this environment, so connecting marks the club ready without visiting Stripe.

Refunds and disputes are handled in the club's own Stripe dashboard. runclubOS keeps the member's status in step.

Members cover the card fee

When this is on, checkout adds a "Card processing fee" line to dues and merchandise, so the club receives the full listed price. The total is (price + fixed fee) divided by (1 minus the percentage), rounded up to the next cent.

Example: $30.00 dues are charged as $31.21, and the club nets $30.00.

Rules on passing card fees to customers vary by state and card network. The club is responsible for following them.
