"Send text to club" goes through the club's own Twilio account, which bills the club directly.

Set up Twilio

  1. Create an account at twilio.com in the club's name.
  2. Complete carrier registration (A2P 10DLC in the US) so messages are not filtered. Twilio walks through it under Messaging, Regulatory compliance.
  3. Buy a sending number and add it to a Messaging Service. Turn on "Advanced opt-out" so STOP replies are handled by Twilio.
  4. Create an API key under Account, API keys and tokens. Copy its SID and secret: the secret is shown only once.
  5. Paste the four values below and send yourself a test.

Connect Twilio

Encrypted with a key held outside the database. Never shown again after saving.
